About Us
Gombosuren Foundation is an independent Mongolian non-governmental, non-profit organisation working to advance sustainable community development and expand opportunity across Mongolia.
Established in 2026, the Foundation is named after Gombosuren Tserenpil, former Foreign Minister of Mongolia and literary translator. His public and intellectual work reflects a two-way engagement between Mongolia and the wider world. As Foreign Minister during Mongolia's historic transition from socialism to democracy, he played an important role in shaping the country's foreign policy during a period of profound political and social change and in representing Mongolia internationally. As a literary translator, he has brought international literature, ideas and perspectives to Mongolian readers.
